The Returned..!
A large numbers of books returned to the library lately by our out-going Year 11 students. I always feel intrigued by these books as borrowers could not bear to part with them for a long time. This normally indicates that a book is good. Some of the books returned this year include Avengers and Superman graphic novels, the emotional novel about body issues, Butter, some spy adventures and horrors. They are now available to borrow from the LRC again.
Summer Book Fair!
Annual Summer Book Fair will be taking place in the library from Monday 29th June until Friday 3rd June. Books are supplied by Scholastic and will be half-price. Scholastic provide us with rewards points for any books we sell which allows us to get free books for the library. Please remind your child to have a look.
On Tuesday 30th June parents are welcome to come in after school 3.30 - 4.30 and browse though the book sale and library stock. It will be a great opportunity to find some books for your children to read for the summer. Refreshments will be provided. Non-fiction Bonanza!
New non-fiction books have been added to the library just in time for reading over the summer! This collection is mainly based around hobbies. Learn how to sew a bag, learn even more about space, learn how to make an amphibious car, how to make your own make-up. Learn about subjects that you might study in the future such as media, music and philosophy or just learn how to relax.
